Photo Transfer App App Reviews

It crashes when I transfer a video from my Macbook to my iPad 4. Just before finishing the video transfer, the app in the iPad crashes. Sometimes the MAC app AND the iPad app crash at the same time when I try to transfer a video. Please fix it!

It used to work absolutely fine but now everytime I try to connect it with any device, it says there was an error communicating with this device. When I restart my mac and do the same thing, it doesn’t even recognize it. PLEASE fix it!

Easy to use on a Mac desktop iPhone transfer.

This crashes on me pretty much every time Ive used it so far. If I dont try to upload more than 25 pic at once it seems to do better. Pretty annoyin though.

First off, the app is amazing. As being a photographer for awhile now, I needed a new way to transfer my photos from my laptop to my phone. The app transfers the photos as perfectly as they were on the camera. But, the app is very slow, resulting my computer to shut down, restart, etc. The app in general is very simple and easy to use, the only thing is the slowness. All in all, great job.

I’ve never had an issue with this app, and I use it almost daily. Transferring videos and photos is faster than any other method, and I like that I can create an album on my iOS device through the app on my Mac, upload pics, and I’m done. Transfers are consistently fast. This has been a great solution for several of my clients/students. It just works. Thanks for a great app.

Crashes when transfering more than one pic at a time from Mac to iphone. Other than that, sweet deal!

Have been using this app for about a year. Works great, never had a problem. Easy to use, even for a novice.

This app is still new to me. I’ve had some difficulty navigating it, but the problems may be mine! My later transfers were smoother than the first three. Give me more time and I’ll probably give the app 5 stars.

Again, another photo transfer app that can’t get it right. Every time I try to start transferring photos from an iPhone 5s to my Mac, on the same wifi, the iOS app crashes. Sure, the iOS and Mac apps look great. Too bad they didn’t spend as much time on actual functionality as they did eye candy.

I use this when Ive got a jpeg that I need to get from one device to another without the usual photo stream (which Ive turned off). This app gives you more control. I cant say the usefulness of this under iOS 8 and OS 10 Yosemite, as Im still use iOS 7 and Mavericks.

As an iPad consultant for people with unique challenges, i recommend this app to most of my clients!

There are a miiion ways to transfer pics from one Apple device to another, but none is as sweet as this one. Works perfectly, speedy, a helpful UI makes it foolproof. Plus, unlike Photo Stream, you control which images to move or copy. When my spouse got a new iPad, this was one of the first apps to go on it.

I can’t say enough about this amazing app. I have been using it for years, and I couldn’t live without it. My phone, and ipad get so many pictures on it, and it’s so easy to save them to my computer so it doesn’t bog down my phone or ipad. I just love it and it works perfectly all the time. SOOO easy to use! It’s worth way more than $2.99!

Now that they have made major bug fixes, the app works as it was designed to do, and works perfectly. PhotoTransferApp is indispensable to my workflow. Highly recommended to anyone who needs to get photos from a satellite device into a computer.

The application segments images into folders (one per day), each of which have to be downloaded separately. And it takes several mouse clicks to download each one. So, if you have hundreds of photos to download, it will take many hours of work. Select the folder, select Download, select Full size, select destination, then dismiss a dialog that asks if you want to open the destination folder it was copied to FOR EACH PHOTO. I don’t mind wasting a few dollars on this app. I just hate supporting useless apps.

Really enjoying the new OS X version! Being able to download entire folders is a great new feature and makes getting everything off of your device so much faster! Thanks developers!

I spent some time figuring out the system and how it worked, then transferred 382 images from my old phone, to my computer, then from there a selection of 316 to my new phone, it took just over five minutes, no errors. Not bad for$2.99

One of my all-time favorite apps — intuitive, smooth, fast, and it works every time. If I want to move photos between my iPhone and my desktop Mac, I bypass iTunes and Photos and go straight to this baby. Every app should be this good.

This App works as advertised. It’s quick, and it has a simple interface that JUST WORKS! Why can’t all Apps work like this one??????
